Fish unwanted
Hong Kong housewives are refusing to buy fish because they believe that they may have fed on the victims in a ship which sank during a typhoon earlier this month. The “China Mail” says that fish prices have dropped to their lowest level this year since the sinking of the Hong Kong-Macao ferry Fatshan. Seventy bodies have been recovered from the ship, but 18 are still missing.—Hong Kong, Septemebr 1.
