Ryan changes club
• The Canterbury and South > Island cricketer, M. L. Ryan, I has changed his club this sea- ' son. Ryan, who played for ■ High School Old Boys after ' leaving school, and again on ■ his return from the North > Island, has transferred to Lancaster Park. An opening batsman and off-spin bowler, Ryan will be an important acquisition for Lancaster Park. It is a young side, and Ryan’s experience should bring a greater solidarity to the batting. He could also provide useful support for the representative off-spinner, B. C. Irving.
