Gymnast of year
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Miss J. Buchanan, of Canterbury, won the women’s A grade championship from Miss L. Blalkle, also of Canterbury, at the New Zealand gymnastic championships yesterday. Last year’s champion, Miss A. Reid, of Otago, finished fourth. Miss Buchanan was presented with the New Zealand Gymnast of the Year award.
