MOTORWAY DRIVING
Case stated for
judge A case stated on a decision given by Mr P. L. Molineaux, S.M., on August 5 on lane driving on a motorway has been filed in the Supreme Court by the Crown Solicitor. When he gave his decision the Magistrate invited the Ministry of Transport to ask for a case to be stated for the opinion of the Supreme Court in view of the importance of the matter. The Magistrate ruled that a driver in the right lane of a two-lane motorway who has overtaken a vehicle in the left lane does not have to cross into the left lane.
