Neighbours to rescue
(N.Z. Press AssGciation) AUCKLAND, Sept. 1. Eight children were rescuer by their parents and neighbours as fire swept through i house, in Trafalgar Street Onehunga, yesterday. The children, aged betweer eight months and 10 years were sleeping when the fin began about 7.30 a.m. Thr parents, Mr and Mrs P. Hal pin, also were asleep. Neighbours rushed into thi burning house and helped Mi and Mrs Halpin rescue theii children.
Firemen were quickly or the scene after being notified of the fire by a passing mo torist.
