Officers of N.Z.L.T.A.
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. A member of the Junior advisory committee, Mr J. H. Lockington (Auckland), was elected to the national selection panel- of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association on Tuesday night’s management committee meeting of the association.
He beat Dr P. Becroft (Auckland) in a ballot The sitting two selectors—Mrs D. Anderson (Wellington) and Mr R. Brown (Canterbury) were elected unopposed. Mr D. Jaffrey, a life member and former prelsdent of the Auckland association, was elected as the new president of the national body. Officers elected were; president, Mr D. Jaffrey (Auckland,; vice-presidents, Messrs E. D. Andrews, D. C.-Coombe, E. R. Stephens, and R. R. T. Young; management committee, Messrs H. Heaton, J. D. Vickermen, E. D. B. Lusk. R. F. Marten, I. D Wells, M. C. Healey, H. C. F. Duncan, P. E. Webb,, I. L. Houghton.
