All sections lower on Australian market
All sections retreated in dull trading on Australian Stock exchanges yesterday.
Established miners to move lower included Utah, 17c down at 308 c, M.1.M., down 10c at 312 c, and W.M.C. which lost 8c to 325 c. C.R.A. moved against the trend with a 14c gain to 694 c.
Whim Creek put on 10c to 440 c, and Queensland Mines rose 20c to 580 c. Kathleen Investments dropped 20c to 380 c. Great Boulder shed 3c to 165 c, Spargos fell 5c to 95c. Woodside opened trading
on a firm note, but support dropped away during trading with the shares closing 9c lower at 123 c. Mid East dipped 4c to 90c, Magellan fell 15c to 180 c, and Santos eased 5c to 365 c. Oil Search eased 3c to 29c while among the few gains Santos put on 5c to 365 c, and Bridge firmed 2c to 35c. B.H.P. was 10c lower at 1290 c. W. H. Soul fell 10c to 550 c, B.N.S.W. shed 6c to 584 c, and A.P.M. lost 3c to 172 c.
