(N.Z.P.A.‘Reuter—Copyright) TOKYO, August 31. The Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr Takeo Fukuda, said last night that Japan was not quite ready to invite President Nixon to Japan. He was commenting on a local report that he might formally extend an invitation to President Nixon when he attended a meeting of the United States-Japan joint committee on trade and economic affairs to be held in Washington on September 9 and 10.
