M. J. Skelton to resume
The Riccarton jockey, M. J. Skelton, who was badly Injured In a fall from Beau Leigh In the Dominion Handicap at Biocarton on April 14, hopes to resume riding on the first day of the Ashburton County Racing Club’s meeting next Tuesday.
Although Skelton still awaits his clearance, he has been assured by his doctor that there should be no trouble. He has been engaged to ride the good staying mare. Sailing Home, and the Pgparua Humcap winner, I. Spy, as well as Kurd Mahal, Rose Arnie, King’s Club, and Bonavla.
