A woman who has denied that she is Amelia Earheart, the American flyer who was the first woman to fly the Atlantic, and- who disappeared from somewhere over the Pacific during a round-the-world flight in 1937, has brought a SUSI.Sm action for damages against the publisher of the book, “Amelia Earheart Lives.” Mrs Irene Bolam claims that she is defamed in the publication, written by Joe Klaas, who, along with a former United States Air Force officer, Joseph Gervais, who helped to do research work for the .book, are named as co-defendants.—New York, August 31.
