Vandals in house

About $4OO worth of damage was done to an unoccupied house in Waterloo Road, Hornby, -when vandals on Thursday emptied tins of paint and daubed the walls of the interior.The Hornby police yesterday apprehended two juveniles who will appear in the Children's Court. The house had only recently been redecorated. Entry was gained through a window. About $7O in cash was stolen from a house in Eveleyn Couzins Avenue, Avonside, when it was entered while the occupants were asleep on Thursday night. Radios and other property, of a total value of more than $l5O, were stolen from a flat in Hereford Street and a house in Fitzgerald Avenue when they were burgled on Thursday.
