Objection to attacks
’ (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 4. Delegates to the -annual conference of the Post 1 Office Association in Wellington had made it abundantly clear they were fed up with attacks on the trade union movement by members of the Government, said l the president of the association (Mr J. G. Stapleton), today. At a time when harmony in industry was essential,, recent “irresponsible” statements by Cabinet Ministers prevented the establishment of good industrial relations, Mr Stapleton said.
