Tax incentive extended
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 4. The exports tax incentive scheme would be extended to March 31, 1977, the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) said today. Mr Muldoon said that last year he had announced that this incentive would be extended to 1974 to enable manufacturers to plan their development programmes with greater certainty. “The Government has now decided that the incentive should be extended to March 31, 1977, thus providing industry with an assured period of six years during which the incentive will be available,” Mr Muldoon said.
