Five from Canterbury "The Press" Special Sereice WELLINGTON. New Zealand's track and field selectors last evening named 41 athletes as a "long list” of prospects for next year’s Munich Olympic Games. Five Canterbury athletes— A. Gilmour, E. M. Gray, D. C. Mckenzie, W. J. Nicholl and Miss B. Poulsen—are included. The convener of selectors (Mr C. F. Thompson) said that the list could also be considered “as a training squad,” and would be added to if necessary.
