DAMAGES CLAIM
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Aug. 3. Evidence for the plaintiff in a $20,000 claim for general damages was completed this morning and the case for the defendant began in the Supreme Court, Dunedin, before Mr Justice Roper and a The plaintiff, Edna Ellen Grindley, aged 52, a widow, of Christchurch, is claiming general and special damages against the Dunedin City Council, as the result of a fall from the patio of a Shetland Street pensioner’s flat on November 4 r 1968, when she suffered a fracture to her right leg. .
