THE NEW COLOMBO PLAN FLAG was unfurled for the first time recently at a reception in Parliament Buildings to mark the twentieth anniversary of the plan. The flag was unfurled by the Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake) and was flown the following day from Parliament Buildings. With the Prime Minister is Miss Elsje Lalamentik, of Indonesia, a Colombo Plan award holder who, as a teacher, is studying at the English Language Institute of Victoria University.
