Wage agreements
Sir,—l wonder if the moguls of the F.O.L. can read anything into - the failure, first of Rolls-Royce, and now of Upper Clyde Shipbuilders. Could it be that excessive demands by the unions have priced these firms out of their markets and union members out of their jobs? I feel sure that there is a lesson to be learned.—Yours, etc, THE LOOKER-ON. June 18,: 1971.
