Marine rescue body proposed

AUCKLAND, June 20.
A loosely knit, national association of voluntary rescue organisations is likely to be formed as a result of a marine search and rescue conference held at Auckland at the week-end. The conference, attended by more than 100 representatives of Police, Air Force, Navy and boating groups, was called to consider problems involved in close-to-shore rescues.
