Crayfish traps confiscated
Seven crayfish traps which had been confiscated off Patiti Point, Timaru, on Thursday by the Navy fisheries patrol vessel Haku, were handed to the Marine Department at Lyttelton. According to a spokesman, the traps did not comply with the regulations because they had no escape hole for smaller crayfish.
