Sheep society officers
(N.Z. Press Association) TAMARU, June 16. „ Mr D. G. Baker, of Cannington, South Canterbury, has been elected president at the annual meeting of the Perendale Sheep Society of New Zealand, in Timaru. The retiring president, Mr K. G. Lynch (North Auckland) was elected vice-president Other officers elected were: Treasurer, Mr W. R. R. Hewitt (Palmerston North); secretary, Sir Geoffrey Peren (Palmerston North); assistant secretary, Mr E. C. Baxter (Palmerston North); council, Messrs D. A. Anderson (Hundalee, North Canterbury), G. M. Bryant (Taranaki), J. H. Bryant (Masterton), K. C. Dodgshun (Gisborne), T. H. C. Chamberlain (Rotorua), O. R. Nlkolalson (Hawke’s Bay), F. Hillas (Pahlatua), A. D. McGilvray (Invercargill), J. P. Robertson (Palmerston North), M. L. Udy (Palmerston North).
