At the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Amateur CycUng AssoclaUon in Wellington last night, delegates voted for a manager of a sponsored series which does not yet A motion had been put to the meeting by the West Coast (North Island) centre: that, in view of the uncertainty of the 1972 Air New Zealand series, the manager not be appointed at this year’s annual general meeUng. This moUon was lost by Is votes to 12 by a show of hands. This means that the delegates today will have to select a manager for the series which has yet to be arranged with the sponsors, Air New Zealand. The vote was challenged, but a secret ballot confirmed the deciThe selectors appointed were Messrs D B. Smith. W. D. Dalton and C. J. HoUows (chair"'After five ballots, Mr HoUows was also elected as the manager for the 1972 Olympic Games team which will be competing In Munich in August, 1972.
