N.Z. service written
New Zealand has been commissioned to prepare the order of service for the “World Day of Prayer” in 1973, for the first time. An initial draft of the New Zealand script, “Alert in Our Time,” was approved in April. The general issues of hunger, war, and the refugee problem are being raised in the script, which has yet to be approved finally. Six New Zealand writers from different denominations have contributed to this. Maori music was to be included but there are transcription difficulties. Translated scripts will be sent to 169 different countries.
