Woolcraft awards
The 1971 New Zealand Woolcraft Awards, held in Wellington recently by the co-ordinating committee of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers’ and the Country Women’s Institutes, were judged at the New Zealand Wool Board.
Gold medals were awarded to the following:
Dressmaking section: Mrs J. Hegarty (Gisborne).
Handknitting: Mrs W. Johnston (Duntroon, North Otago).
Homespun article: Mrs P. Judd (Manakau, Manawatu). Crochet garment: Mrs E. Williams (Newmarket, Auckland).
