Detectives called in
Christchurch detectives are investigating a fire at the Shirley Primary School in Shirley Road yesterday afternoon.
They were called in by firemen who were suspicious when they inspected the damaged area.
The fire broke out soon after 3.30 pan. in a storeroom and flames spread through papers and books on the shelves. Firemen from St Albans put out the fire before more than slight damage was caused.
