Control of needles
(N.Z. Prut Association) WELLINGTON. June 17. Possession of a hypodermic needle “without reasonable excuse” will be an offence under the Police Offences Act, the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) told Parliament today.
Mr D. A. Highet (Nat, Remuera) asked whether the Minister would consider putting syringes on prescription. Mr McKay said that such action would not achieve the objects of its proponents.
