Club attends korero
Seventeen members of the Oamaru Savage Club under their great chief, Mr R. Tuffery, attended the fourth korero of the Christchurch Savage Club on Saturday night. Apart from four items from the Christchurch club’s orchestra, conducted by Mr C. Miller, the whole programme was provided bv the visitors assisted by local members who had once belonged to the Oamaru club. During the week-end three parties, at the invitation of past chiefs Messrs C. S., J. L, and W. A. Luney. visited the town hall complex and heard details of its construction.
