Some work remains to be done on the third runway but this will be completed for the opening. The runways are grasssurfaced and have been built on a compacted earth base, and one has been sealed for a length of 2000 ft The field, which has been in limited use for the last few months, has cost $30,000. Voluntary labour was used where possible.
