Call for State radio control
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 19. The Federation of Labour today called for television and radio broadcasting to be placed under Government control and “social ownership.” The annual conference endorsed a remit from the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, and said that the trade union movement should be represented on broadcasting advisory committees.
