Killing two birds
<X.Z. Frew Atrociatum AUCKLAND, May 11. A medical student who is a member of the Lions Rugby team to visit New Zealand will spend some time after the tour studying at the Auckland Medical School. He is J. P. R. Williams, one of the full-backs, a senior medical student in St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London. He has sought permission to remain in Auckland at the end of the tour in mid-August to do a period at the school and this has been granted. The Dean of the school. Professor Cecil Lewis, said that a relatively new feature of medical education was the practice of study from one to three months in medical schools other than one's own. It was proving highly beneficial.
