Winner at Randwick
Winking, a minor winner at Randwick last Saturday, is a New Zealand-bred filly by Oncidium out of Kasha. She opened the winning account of New Zealand-bred horses which took the first three races on the card. Winking won the mile Fernhill Handicap for two-year-olds in 1.38 J, by the wide margin of six lengths, after having been In the middle of the field off 20 with three furlongs to run. For her owners, a partnership of six, she earned $3300 and another start tomorrow, before she Kout for a spell from T. J h’s stable.
