ROAD TOLL NOW 220
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 23. To noon today, 220 traffic deaths had been reported this year to the Ministry of Transport At the corresponding time last year the total was 228. The toll this month was 42, compared with 53 at the equivalent time in April, 1870.
