The race meeting at the Canterbury Car Club's Ruapuna Park circuit on Sunday will be a club meeting only, and as yet entries have not been settled. A Vauxhall Viva now being prepared for saloon races in Britain is said to be producing 220 b.h p. from its 2.5-litre engine. In New Zealand, a Christchurch driver is preparing a VB-engined Viva for local saloon events.
