Motukarara meeting
The two-year-olds which are to contest the First and Second Akaroa Juvenile Stakes at the Akaroa Trotting Club’s equalisator meeting at Motukarara tomorrow, should provide the highlights on a busy day’s programme.
Pompano, a consistent placegetter this season, will clash with Logan Cheval (which finished second to Barbara Del, at only her second start, in the Two-Year-Old Stakes at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington on April 10 in the Second Akaroa Stakes restricted to fillies. The first double will be run on the two races for two-year-olds and the other on the Orbiter Handicap and Vanderford Handicap , The equalisator will be run on all eleven races, the first at 10.30 a.m. Included on the programme are four qualifying trials, and a penalty bearing maiden, which Is one of two races to be run in divisions.
