Rail traffic to Zambia
(N.Z.P. A. -Reuter —Copyrip'nO LUSAKA, April 21. Rail traffic between the Mozambique port of Beira and Zambia was back to normal after a Partuguese ‘blockade” of Zambian imports, the ' “Times of Zambia” reported. ' Portugal has denied the ' blockade, which was said by ; President Kenneth Kaunda of ■ Zambia to have hit vital 1 maize imports. Dr Kaunda alleged on ■ March 23 that the Portuguese 1 had held up the maize after • five Portuguese soldiers were ■ captured by Coremo African > nationalist guerrillas ir f Mozambique. 1 He said that Portugal hat suggested that Zambia hac e “connived with Coremo ii '■ killing the five soldiers” ant i, described this as an outrage n ous allegation.
