Young love
Paris is the setting for “Goodnight Pelican" a 8.8. C. play about young love and a possessive mother, which is on the CHTV3 programme on Monday afternoon. The young heroine Clara, is a music student from England who is introduced to elegant Paris society by her uncle. She' is taken up by the fashionable countess Maria and falls in love with her son, Andre. To that point it is a conventional love story, but Clara becomes increasingly aware of the closeness of Maria’s hold over her son and the course of true love no longer runs smoothly.
Kika Markham and lan Ogilvy play the young lovers and Joyce Heron the mother.
