Brighter trading at the close in Australia

Spargo’s firmed 10c to 140 c, and Eastmet put on 5c to 50c. Lefroy fell 10c to 150 c and Whim Creek shed 10c to 180 c. Mareeba, Wattle Gully, Selcast and Mining Finance were also marginally lower. Jones Mining dropped a further 15c to 70c. New B.H. finned 30c to 1390 c on continued hopes for the reopening of the mines. North BH and BH South also finned marginally. Utah finned 5c to 420 c. Great Boulder dropped 15c to 280 c and Peko shed 10c to 1100 c. Among the industrials, Cheney put on 18c to 140 c and Lindeman dropped 15c to 395 c.
