“The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL. The Southland pacers, Real Bachelor, Tactual, and Cruachan, will do their future racing in the United States. Cruachan, which was der veloped by D. M. Kerr, has been sold to American interests, but Real Bachelor and Tactual will continue to race for their Invercargill owner, Mr A. J. Dynes. The Kumeu trainer, D. N. Hayes, who has made several visits to America, will prepare the trio. He enjoyed good fortune with Black Swan there a couple of seasdns back. Cruachan, Tactual, and Real Bachelor were flown from Christchurch to Auckland yesterday, and, if travel arrangements go to plan, will be flown to America today. Silbon, formerly owned by Mr G. McDonald, of Pine Bush, and Fashionwise, a member of J. L. Ferguson’s Tinwald team, were expected to accompany the trio to America.

Hayes will give the horses a chance to acclimatise for 10 days at Tally-Ho Farm, Long Island, and will then campaign them at Monticello Raceway.
