THEFT FROM HOTEL
Notes, thought to exceed $l4OO were taken from the Omarama Hotel office when it was broken into between midnight on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. Silver and cheques were disregarded by the intruder. The hotel is owned by Mr and Mrs E. Woods, who are on holiday. A car reported missing from Omarama overnight was found damaged at Timaru on Sunday morning.
