MARTY MIMING
Marty Feldman has made a 45-minute television show with no dialogue. The entire programme is mimed, or as the 8.8. C. says, “use is made of visual, silent, comedy techniques."
The show is called “Marty Abroad,” and was filmed in Spain. It features the popeyed comedian as an inoffensive little Briton who decides to get away from it all. He joins a cheap package tour holiday. Naturally, disaster strikes at him from every direction. With Marty are John Junkin, who plays the courier oh the tour and is also a rival for the attentions of the only unattached girl on the trip, played by Mary Miller.
