Tragedy has again struck Michael Parks, star of the American series “then Came Bronson.”
His nine-year-old stepdaughter Stephanie has been killed in a traffic accident. She was one of his wife Kay’s two daughters by a previous marriage. Only six years ago Parks was left a widower when his bride of six weeks, Jan Moriarty, died from an overdose of sleeping pills while he was away filming.
With Tony Franciosa out of "The- Name of the Game,” Universal is filling his place with guest stars. Peter Falk was hired for one episode, which also featured Gina Lollobrigida as a nun. O ♦ »

Production school
A school for television and film production is to be held next month by the New Zealand Producers, Directors and Writers’ Guild, but will be limited to people in the film or television industries. It will start on April 17 with an introduction to television by Mr Bert Deame, an independent television producer, who also appeared two years ago in the series “Music Hall.” Northern Television’s art director, Tony Stones, and the producer, Kevan Moore, will be among others speaking at the three-day course.
