Songs heard in U.S.
A Boston publishing company has accepted several poems by a young Cobden man, to be used as lyrics for songs.
Mr G. Neame, a hair]dresser, has had nine poems] accepted, one of which is in-! eluded in a record to be released in the United States next month. One of his poems is in a South African dialect. Sesqto. He wrote this in English and then translated it, using books from the Greymouth Municipal Library for reference.
