DUMP FIRE
A fire at the Bexley rubbish dump on Sunday afternoon was damped down by one unit from the Woolston Fire Station and two from the New Brighton station with the aid of Christchurch City Council staff. The brigade was called at 2.54 p.m. The fire caused no damage.
