University staff
Five new academic staff were accepted at a meeting of the University of Canterbury Council yesterday. They are: librarian, Mr R. W. Hlavac, associate librarian, University of Otago; reader in electrical engineering, Dr K. A. Haines, chief scientist, Holotron Corporation, Delaware; lecturer in electrical engineering, Dr H. R. Sirisena, lecturer, University of Ceylon; student counsellor, Mr A. R. Homblow, assistant clinical psychologist, Sunnyside Hospital; and supervisor of accommodation, Mr D. M. Thomson, bursar. School of Engineering, University of Canterbury.
