Railway contract
A contract for the contract for a new goods shed and low-level loading bank at Picton, to cost about $24,000, has been let to Woodham and Mexted (South Island), Ltd. The goods shed and loading bank are part of the improvements associated with the ferry terminal development. The 2000 sq. ft goods shed will replace the old shed, which will be demolished.
