SOCCER ASSN MAN DIES

INVERCARGILL,
The New Zealand Football Association councillor, Mr Laurence OTRorke, died in Invercargill on Saturday. He had complained of feeling unwell when he returned to his home after marking out soccer grounds in the morning. It is thought he was the longest serving member of the N.Z.F.A. council. He was also a life member of the Thistle club and the Southland Football Association. Mr O’Rorke, who was 62, is survived by his wife, a daughter and four sons.
