Incomes doubled
Personal income in Australia has more than doubled in the last 10 years according to the Bureau of Statistics figures. Personal disposable income—income minus all taxes, fines and fees—reached $19,565m in 196970, the Bureau reported. In 1959-60 personal disposable income totalled $9629m. Income per head in 1969-70 was $1822, $l3l higher than in the previous year.
