D. J. Townley returning
The Tlnwald trainer, D. J. Townley, Intends returning to Christchurch In time to drive at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club's meeting tonight. The flight on which he will travel Is due to arrive about 4 p.m.
It is expected that Townley's only drive at the meeting will be Hundred Chance In the Christchurch Stakes, the second leg of the T.A.B. double.
"Actually ho doesn't want to drive at all at the meeting," sold Mrs Townley yesterday, "but I exepect he will continue his association with Hundred Chonco. He doesn't want to replace Kevin on Barbara Del, but Kevin Is quite happy that ho should."
Arrangements have been completed for Stella Frost to return to New Zealand on April 4 on the aircraft which will take Panzer Chief and other New Zooland gallopers to Sydney the next day.
