U.S. golfer leading
(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) BANGKOK. The American, D. Oakley, fired a sparkling five-under-par 67 to head the sixth Thailand open golf championship after the first round yesterday. The 25-year-old Oakley, who gavfe up a sales career in Washington to turn professional last September, had six birdies, and led by one stroke from B. Arda (Philippines) and I. Katsumata (Japan). On 69 were M. Imai (Japan) and P. Ngarmprom (Thailand). The New Zealander, T. Kendall, scored 72.
