Salary up to $5613 p.a., according to qualifications and experience. The scientific programme primarily covers upper atmospheric physics, geomagnetism, seismology, meteorology, glaciology and geology. They should be instructors in snow and ice techniques, experienced leaders of search and rescue groups, and be experienced in handling men in difficult conditions. FIELD ASSISTANTS: Vacancy No. 1379. Salary up to $2689 p.a. Personnel are required to assist in field geological and survey parties.
