Prison, riot
Three prisoners were killed by stab wounds and six others were injured in a fresh outbreak of violence today at the National Penitentiary near Manila. Among the improvised weapons found after the brief riot were long knives made from chunks of metal, sharpened wooden pipes, wooden sticks, and nails.—Manila, March 26.
